This is the guy that said "Part of the reason it's difficult is that the game is well balanced" in the NS2 review,
People keep bringing that up, but I don't see what is so bad about it. Taken out of context the way most people are presenting it, sure, it's a bit of a head-scratcher, but in the context of the review he makes a fair point. Other than the price error and the load time exaggeration I didn't see this review being all that bad to be honest. He didn't play the game for more than 8 or 10 hours from the sound of his complaints, but that begs the question how much time should a game be given to convince you it's good?
I will say that it seems likely that he was the wrong person to be given the task of reviewing NS2. His review was written pretty much how I would have written it, and I am not a fan of competitive multiplayer games, which would imply that neither is he. |
