I liked the picture quality better when I compared the screens at Worst Buy... then bought on Amazon.com. MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Its your money but big box store showrooms are the worst possible place to make comparisons. Most of the TVs are running in demo mode with brightness and contrast dialed to 10, the color accuracy is poor and you won't get proper viewing distance, level, etc.
What I do is just find a bunch of models I want to evaluate then go to a local shop where they usually have an actual dark room and somewhat realistic viewing setups.
Yup. Well not necessarily PQ, but the color thing was a load of BS. It was marketing BS, they basically had claimed to invent new colorspace by using yellow |
