Cards wideout Larry Fitzgerald wants to buy some followers on Twitter and Facebook, and I'm totally fine with that. Bribery for a cure FTW.

xXBatmanXx wrote on Oct 5, 2012, 19:02: Eh, go check his annual stats - he aint doin shit. Benched in almost every fantasy league. I'd guess that's true only in small leagues. In my 10 team league we play 3 WR/TE each.. there are not 30 guys scoring more points than him in the league. It's close, but he won't be riding the bench in my league anytime soon. Nor mine. If he was available I would take him in a heartbeat. Getting a receiver that you know without a shadow of a doubt will be targeted 10-20 times per game is not something I would turn down. Same reason I take Tony Gonzales if I can. His average pts/game over the course of a season is reliable and he is hardly ever hurt....just like Larry F. There are obviously always going to be players that are having a better season at any given time, particularly in Larry's case where you might be the entire focus of the defense, but I will take that season long reliability any day.
@Batman: And I would think it is pretty obvious I am well aware of his stats considering my previous post. Your accusation was basically that he was a lazy player, and there just isn't anything to substantiate that. You find one clip, audio or video, of any analyst from any network making a similar claim and I would be astounded. I would be willing to bet money you can't. You are right..he plays like a former Viking...you just picked the wrong one. It ain't Moss he learned from, it is Cris Carter. |
