Actually I may just buy a small one for a boot drive, and get a 500GB PCIe-Slot version, since they are faster than the SATA versions... but I'll be waiting a long time before those are .50 cents a Gig. And then you'll most likely have your graphics card venting all its heat onto your SSD. Not an ideal situation.
To be honest, the Sandforce 2 controller drives are already so insanely fast that it's hard to see what a PCI-e drive could offer on top of it. Obviously if you are continuously writing huge files to your SSD it'd benefit, but in daily operation? My PC already responds instantaneously, for all intents and purposes. I wonder if it'd even be noticeable.
