Pretty fucking stupid decision. Either give the discount to everyone or noone. Sure I can just buy a russian key but I don't want to risk my Steam account.

Just get keys that don't require a russian proxy and you'll be fine. There's always plenty of sites that sell international keys cheap without requiring a proxy unlock.

The game is already $50 so I have no problem paying full price personally.
