Battlefield 3 Armored Kill Launch Trailer

The Battlefield 3 Website now offers a "launch trailer" for the Armored Kill DLC for the military shooter sequel. This is a bit of a tease for Windows and Xbox 360 gamers, as the pack is currently only available for Battlefield 3 Premium Members on the PS3. Premium members on other platforms can expect the pack on September 11th, while the unwashed masses will be able to get it on September 18th on the PS3 and September 25th for PC and Xbox 360. Word is: "Featuring new drivable tanks, ATVís, mobile artillery and more, this expansion pack also delivers huge battlefields for an all-out vehicle assault. Armored Kill also includes the biggest map in Battlefield history."

I'm like the only guy that still likes BF3 & I'm a huge ARMA

Nah, I still like the game. Just haven't played in awhile since they never managed to stop the blatant hacking - plus I didn't pick up Close Quarters (not my cup 'o tea). This DLC looks like it could be better, so I might snag it. Depends if the other guys I tend to play with are interested as well.

Yeah that's pretty much why I gave up. The hacking is incredibly rampant, there are a dozen multihacks and various exploits out there for the game. I can accept the fact that there will be hackers in a multiplayer FPS but when you don't even try to protect the integrity of the game then I lose interest quickly.

As for DLC and map design, BF3 has better FPS mechanics than its predecessors but it's no Counter-Strike. I found the overall mapping goals to be really choke point heavy even on larger more "open" maps which was really frustrating. There was a distinct lack of vehicle selection and variety on many maps too.
Playing: XCOM 2, Diablo 3
Watching: American Crime, Regression
