In this instance it was used in a way you agree with, there is no guarantee you will agree with them the next time it happens. And by then its too late. I'm not a citizen of New Zealand and if the US wants to violate my right to due process they aren't going to have to come looking for me. I'd be more upset with the NZ government for buckling to external pressure than I would be with the US for going after some douche giving the world the finger (literally) while hiding behind international law. |
