So yes, I am correct about how things stand right now. Again, everything is subject to change. But it's really annoying constantly hearing the media try to talk about how "close" the race is, when it's anything but. Actually, I agree. The national polls are mostly meaningless. I wasn't clear/specific but I was talking about the state polls, hence my mentioning of the "5-10 states". I'll admit to taking the last 2 weeks off from the news. I was busy with some family business and after all there is only so much "news" a sane person can take. But unless there's been significant change in several states in the last two weeks, I think your position is overly optimistic for the President.
This is what I have seen -- when considering the margin of error, there has rarely been more than a 3% gap either way. I consider that too close to call. |
