Ships Ahoy - Diablo III announces the extended wait for Diablo III is now over, and the action/RPG sequel should now be available worldwide. For anyone getting error messages from the game, this article may help you work out what's wrong, and here's word on the release:

Twenty years have passed since the Prime Evils were defeated and banished from the world of Sanctuary. Now you must return to Tristram and investigate rumors of a fallen star, an omen that the End Times have begun.

Diablo III is now live and available at a store near you -- or you can click here to purchase a digital copy directly through Blizzard. The game is available at retailers in both a standard and Collector's Edition. Visit our Diablo III game information page or search the Game Guide to learn more about this highly anticipated third installment in the Diablo series.

Your point is?
Name one game that hasn't had issues at launch in the last 10 years.

Downtime in mid afternoon on the first day? So what. It isn't as though people don't have things they SHOULD be doing anyway....let me didn't buy it...

You bought a new game and can't play it?!? Well, you should be doing something else anyway, what are you complaining about?

You paid for this movie ticket and the theater wouldn't let you in? What are you complaining about, you should be doing something else anyway!

You paid for this CD, and can't listen to the music on it? What are you complaining about, there are other things to hear anyway!

Come on. It's ridiculous for everything else people do for entertainment, why is it ok for gaming?

I can name ten online games that were playable at launch. Give me some time and I can do twenty. That argument doesn't hold water.

Well, lets has been up since Midnight, and now is down for maintenance for 3 hours. 82% uptime out of the gate. Not bad.

How many days was the PS3 network down?
How many days was Ubi down?

Argument totally holds water. And in 20 minutes, this forum will just be filled with those who didn't buy we will all be playing again.
