The only real performance issues I noticed were on the first night... definitely choppy and laggy no matter what settings. Although turning everything to low helped a little.
As the lag settled down, later I set things to max, and it was only slightly choppy, whether I was running around or if there were a ton of players / mobs in view in an event.
So, to me, a majority of the "chop" had more to do with network congestion, than video card / cpu issues. -> Core2 Duo E8600 (stock clocks) + GTX680
I'm sure there are also things they need to address for CPU bound issues, as they are stating... but network lag had a lot to do with it, IMO. |
