Bhruic wrote on Nov 29, 2011, 09:59: The DB quests are awesome compared to the Mage College quests. Having done Companion/Thieves Guild/Dark Brother/Mage College, there's no question the latter is the worst. No explanation for what's going on, no sense that you're actually doing anything useful at all, really stupid plot points, and then a "conclusion", to use the word loosely, that is both pointless and unsupportable. Frankly, whoever designed that questline should be out of a job, and looking for work in a new field. Man I'm really bummed to hear you say that, I've been saving my mage for another playthru and was counting on their questline being good. It's amazing how they improved so many other aspects of the game but the quest design has seemingly suffered as a result, at least for the major "schools" from the older titles. |
