Skyrim Day One Patch Plans; Another Bonus Race Revealed

Responding to questions about release/support plans for Friday's release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Bethesda Community Manager made a very short post to the NeoGAF forums about plans to patch the RPG sequel: "Yep. All platforms going to 1.1 by 11/11/11" (thanks Acleacius). Also, GameSpy has details on a second bonus race in the game if you want to see. Thanks GameFront via VG247. We're trying to help people avoid spoilers, so please avoid spilling any beans in our forums.

If you think the game is worth $60, go for it. I was intrigued, didn't notice a demo, had access. 90% of the people on here with the means and know how would do it to, Napster, as well as many other technologies over the year, has proven this.

I got Rage as well, played it 30 minutes, erased it. Didn't see a demo for that either. Sure, I don't have to buy it, I don't have to play it, I don't have to grab it, but I have the abilities to do so, and that is my choice.

Yours is to not, end of discussion.

All discussions about the morality of doing this aside one of the main things that bug me about people like you is that you assume everyone is doing it. All my life I have had to hear about how "everyone is pirating music, movies and games" and how when I say I don't I must be lying. That's just fucking stupid. Just because you do a thing and the forum people you associate with do a thing does not mean EVERYONE does a thing. And even if everyone did do it, that's not justification for jack shit. Majority approval has never defined morality, just look at slavery.

So stop with the BS justifications and abstractions and just argue your actual point.
