Gearbox Creative Director's Stroke

A blog update by Mikey Newmann has details of how the Gearbox Software creative director recently suffered a stroke at the surprisingly young age of 29. There's a complete narrative of Newmann's harrowing experience on Kotaku, and both accounts suggest that his recuperation has been surprisingly rapid, and he's already been back to work. The cause of his stroke was identified as a hole in his heart, though a recent procedure apparently cannot ensure the prevention of future strokes, as intended. Here's word from Mikey's blog: "It’s been 28 days since all of this began, and I feel like the history of my life has more entries in the last month than it has in the last four years."
