More id RAGE Midnight Madness

The Bethesda Blog has word that in addition to John Carmack's previously announced midnight visit to the Mesquite GameStop for the RAGE launch, the id Technical Director will be joined by other id employees:

After long years of work, tonight the team at id Software will finally see its mutant baby RAGE running free through stores across the world. To celebrate, the team is heading down to their local GameStop midnight opening to hang with fans and sign some games.

If youíre in the Dallas area, drive on over to the Mesquite GameStop at 503 N. Galloway Avenue to join John Carmack (CTO), Tim Willits (Creative Director), Matt Hooper (Design Director) and other key members of the RAGE team. The crew will be arriving at 11pm Central ó donít be late!

I'm starting to wonder if this is another ATI/AMD issue? I've got an Nvidia card (MSI N580GTX Twin Frozr II) and see no lag on textures being rendered nor do I see any pop in what so ever. The game looks amazing at 1900x1080 16x AA. Plays smooth as silk almost too fast for this small a FOV. I've not played it much because I want to crash and play it first thing in the morning (not to mention I've already been checked out Dark Souls on the PS3 while Rage took an hour or more to install on the PC).

PC version has what seems an FoV of 60 cause it's making me fucking nauseous.
No FoV option.
Mouse acceleration up the asshole.
NO Vsync option.
NO Aim Toggle option.
0 Graphics options.

My first impression was good. Though the mouse acceleration is a bit too fast for my taste. And I'm praying you're wrong and that there is a FOV adjustment. WTF! Why is any game coming out in this day and age without proper widescreen options? Not that BS clipping of the top and bottom of the screen either.
