Steam News announces a new patch is automatically available for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine with some changes and fixes for Relic's recently released sci-fi action/RPG. Here's the change list:
- Added mute all functionality and push to talk
- Fixed 'butterfly' exploit.
- Update matchmaking parameters to search for local matches longer.
- Fixed a crash when cancelling a search
- Fixed an issue where profile progress would not be saved properly if steam cloud was disabled.
- Fixed an exploit where the player can move at high speeds when switching weapons with the Weapons Versatility perk equipped during multiplayer.

That is, AFTER they shipped co-op DLC for Xbox. Exactly, except EA was ultra-shitty with that move as they released it for consoles but couldn't be fucked releasing it on PC. They already had the content but decided it wasn't worth the effort and that it would be better to focus on Battlefield 3. But are those people going to boycott BF3? Nope, so EA saved themselves a bit of money and will inevitably do the same again.
NEVER buy a game based upon promises. Buy a game for what is already available, not what might be. |
