Hothead Games announces the release schedule for The Baconing, saying their latest comedic action/RPG starring DeathSpank will hit PCs and consoles by the end of this month, with the Windows and OS X editions due on August 31 through Steam. Here's word:

Hothead Games is also very excited to announce that The Baconing will also be available to both Windows PC and Mac users at the same time as their console gaming friends as the game readies for an end of August launch of the game on Steam and the Mac App Store.
