"New and Improved" The Witcher 2 Version 2.0 Plans

A recent Forgotten Land - Riverside, Witcher 2 Music Video on thewitcher.com offers a stylish look at The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, CD Projekt RED's RPG sequel. The video concludes mentioning the upcoming Xbox 360 edition, followed by this: "Soon new and improved PC Version 2.0," so it seems that much like the Enhanced Edition Director's Cut of the original The Witcher, the sequel will be receiving some sort of major post-release update. We may hear more about this from Gamescom this week, as word on the website is: "Last, but not least, don’t forget to watch for our announcements during the show; we’ve prepared something really special for our fans!" Thanks VG247 via AE Portal.

I'm surprised I haven't seen more copies trade on goozex. I've had my hands open for this game since launch and it's trade an amazing 3 times since May 28. Considering the removed the drm at launch I'd say it's safe to trade it and despite that no one is giving it up.

At this rate I'm going to end up buying a copy... Trade those games ppl!

Just for your benefit, I sincerely hope people continue to NOT trade it. Pleased

Anyway...to reply to CJ_Parker, I have a hard time not supporting a company that is:

1) Actively trying to include DLC with each major patch for free.

2) Selling the game DRM-free on their own site.

3) Maintaining the PC as their lead platform.

4) Actually listening to, and respecting their PC customers.

For those 4 reasons alone, I have no problem with buying their games early. And adding in the fact that they make kick-ass games makes them pretty much my choice for PC dev of the year. Watch the developer diaries and you'd be even more impressed(provided you don't mind subtitles).
