RAGE Using Steamworks

Bethesda Softworks tweets a confirmation that id Software's upcoming first-person shooter will use Steamworks: "Since folks are asking... we can confirm that RAGE will use Steamworks on PC." Thanks Shacknews.

Why would you call Steam a malware client when you clearly have no idea what it does or how it even works?

You're also talking about scenarios that are rare and almost never an issue in the first place, but they aren't really a problem since you can work around them with Steam anyway. Of course you have to reinstall it after you reload Windows, but it takes maybe 2 minutes to get all of your games up and running again if you had them on a secondary drive. It'll take you longer to reconfigure and download your web browser.
