Out of the Blue

Welcome to Pink's News. Surely you are totally believing the rebranding of the site, as its plausibility is only exceeded by its originality. In completely unrelated news, today is April Fools' Day, meaning a vast majority of today's stories will be jokes, and some of them will even be funny. We'll probability misclassify a real story or two as jokes along the way, and if the past is any prologue, at least one farfetched story will turn out to be true. Can you even stand the wackiness?

Wacky Links: Thanks Ant and Mike Martinez and Acleacius.
Play: Dino Run: Marathon of Doom.
Elephant Quest.

The 13 Most Brutal Public Pranks of All Time.
Science: Robots dive deep underwater to solve airliner crash mystery.
Images: Amazing pictures: Zebra fights off lion attack. Thanks Digg.
Auction: Play for Japan: Akira Yamaoka Silent Hill Guitar.
DeLorean - Time Machine. Thanks Neutronbeam.
Follow-up: Missing cobra found alive in New York's Bronx Zoo. Thanks Roger.

LOL I was formatting my sys drive for a clean OS install and accidentally quick formatted my backup drive. I know there are a ton of data recovery apps out there, anyone have a specific recommendation for this kind of recovery?

Norton has worked wonders (surprisingly) in the past for me.

Might want to check OnTrack Data Recovery, based here in MN. I think they have some software that can help or some links for you.

As you know, your data isn't gone on the quick format, just the pointers to it. Good luck! Been there done that.
