This trailer offers a side-by-side comparison of the Crysis 2 multiplayer demo on the PC and the Xbox 360, showing how the same scenes appear on each platform. These show various environments, rather than gameplay, to give the opportunity for a proper comparison, with the PC graphics on the highest possible settings. Thanks Ant via the inCrysis Forums. DX11 brings DirectCompute and multithreaded rendering, both of which will be best utilized when engines go full DX11 (which is what Frostbite 2 is doing). And there's hardware tessellation, which is cool. Keeping an engine compatible with both DX9 and DX11 limits how much you can use the new features unless you want to spend inordinate amounts of time maintaining the two semi-separately.
