New LucasArts Creative Director

Frederic Markus is the new Creative Director at LucasArts, reports IndustryGamers. Markus was most recently Director of Game Design at Disney, was Director of Pre-Production at Ubisoft before that, and "also consulted on game design and pre-production for Atari, Microsoft, Rockstar, and others, and served as Design Director at Angel Studios."

Lucas Arts is irrelevant until they come up with a 64 player Xwing vs. Tie Fighter game with a commander player on each side controlling capital ships, seizing planets for resources like a game of chess, and a perpetual galaxy.

Why they cannot think of such an easy to create game is beyond me.

Well I dunno about "easy", but that sounds pretty cool
