I liked it a lot. You have to be a fan of quick time events though. Good story, multiple branches, genuinely interesting.

Well, let me know if I am wrong, but I am fine with those types of games, what really interests me is I talked with 3-4 people who I actually take their gaming opinions into consideration (like a handful around here :)) and each of them were talking about a damn near totally different experience playing the game. Is IT THAT OPEN to how the game plays/progresses? Or was I misunderstanding them?

There are multiple main story branches and small "task" type choices throughout.
