Free Alien Swarm Release

Steam now offers the promised free release of an updated version of Alien Swarm, which includes the complete code base for the game. They say: "Available free of charge, the game thrusts players into an epic bug hunt featuring a unique blend of co-op play and squad-level tactics. Along with the game get the complete code base for Alien Swarm that features updates to the Source engine as well as the SDK."

just had a quick co-op game with 3 others that also didnt know how to play

it was really fun !

most of the similar games like alienbreed and spaceseige game had something wrong with them, but since this one uses the hl2 engine it really just "Feels" right

its not ns2, but i like it

good atmosphere for a top down game too, with all of the water dripping, and the team chatter

its free and its better than a lot of games you pay for!

(about 850meg download)
