I've never been a big mushroom fan, but for years I've had people urge me to try Portobello mushrooms, for their meat-like qualities. We picked a few up the other day, not really for me, but to try out grilling them to see if they would be worthy of putting out for company in the future. Some complications set in on the grilling plan, so MrsBlue made them in the oven, and I was surprised how good they were, even after being told as much so often. Now I am looking forward to trying to grill some because I'll want to eat them, in addition to expanding my cooking repertoire.
