Pole Position 2010 Patch

New patches are now available for Pole Position 2010, updating Kalypso Media's recently released racing management simulation (pole-playing game?) to version 1.10. There are separate patches for the English and German editions of the game, the English patch can be found on AtomicGamer and The Patches Scrolls, while the German patch is available on The Patches Scrolls. The English change log follows.

GENERAL: Optimized font rendering under Windows XP
GENERAL: Music can be turned off in the options menu
GENERAL: Added 150 new character portraits
GENERAL: Some teams leave after a season and come back later
GENERAL: At the end of each season a world champion is always determined
GENERAL: Less reflections on the cars
SPONSORSHIP: Adjusted sponsorhip money
SPONSORSHIP: Sponsors' interest now depends on team performance
RESEARCH: Active research can be cancelled now
RACES: 3D scenes can be turned off during the races
RACES: AI drivers stop at the pit if the weather is bad
RACES: AI drivers stop at the pit if their tires are broken
RACES: Less drivers drop out of the races now
RACES: Pit stop lap is now displayed in the pit stop menu
RACES: Fuel weight has less impact on lap times
RACES: Dropped out drivers are now depicted in red and can be made invisible
RACES: All vehicle adjustments can be accessed during training
RACES: The number of completed laps is now displayed next to the recent lap time
RACES: AI now uses different pit stop strategies
RACES: Less driving errors
RACES: Mileage is now displayed
RACES: Race tracks get flooded less often
RACES: Abrasion of different types of tires corrected
RACES: Different types of tires have a stronger impact during races
RACES: Current weather is now displayed in text form
RACES: Optimized AI during training and qualification
RACES: Ranking computer now has a drop out list with reasons for the drop out
RACES: Ranking computer now has a pit stop list
RACES: More information and feedback during races
BUG: Best laps are now listed in the statistics
BUG: Sponsor "Burger Shop" has no longer a negative basic amount
BUG: Rules for aerodynamic parts now change after each season
BUG: It is possible to buy 20 cooling system now
BUG: No more crashes due to enhancement in research

BUG: Self-produced steering systems no longer violate the rules
