MW2: Stimulus Package DLC Pre-purchases

Steam News announces pre-purchases are now being accepted for the PC edition of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2: Stimulus Package DLC, which will not be free like prior PC map packs in the Call of Duty series. The pack is $14.99 USD, but pre-purchasing prior to its release on May 4 will earn you a 10% discount. Word is: "This DLC map pack delivers 5 additional action-packed multiplayer maps, including brand-new battlegrounds and legendary fan-favorites from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare."

Hmmm...and they didn't even lower the price in euros. So if you are in Europe you payed 70$ for the game plus another 20$ for a map pack only to have half of your games ruined by hackers which would be non-existant had they bothered with dedicated servers...bleh.

On the other hand, I cannot blame Activision...why make less money when you can make more?
