Anyway, bring on the free tank stuff and the added character. Garrus finally has his armor fixed. Don't you notice?
But indeed, out of all DLC's coming out for ME2.. this is one so minor it should be free. For the Hammerhead + character I was willing to pay, though! Isn't the Hammerhead DLC free? I was sure that it was said it would be free. THe new character DLC is not.
In terms of people complaining that there are no expansions anymore, I must have misunderstood what Dragon Age Awakening was. Maybe it's really just a tiny piece of DLC after all.
In the end...no one is forcing people to buy stuff. I got the regular version of DA and I only ever played the DLC that came free with it. I don't currently feel any compulsion to go and buy Return To Ostagar. The game was by no means lean on content and side quests.
Mass Effect 2 wasn't a short game either. And by the time you did all the quests for the characters plus all the exploration quests etc. It would be hard for me to say that I did not get my money's worth from it. And I'm only on my second playthrough.
Yes, there is a lot of frivolous DLC from developers these days, but its all optional. Don't spend your $2 if you don't think it's worth it. I'm sure not going to. |
