Ubisoft's Anti-Piracy Plans

Kotaku has an article analyzing comments from Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot on addressing piracy. These mostly focus on piracy of DS games, but they also point out one comment that indicates they may be working on some new internal DRM for PC games: "Altogether on console, the piracy is low," says Guillemot. "On the PC the piracy is quite a lot. We are working on a tool that would allow us to decrease that on the PC starting next year and probably one game this year."

Please leave and never return!

Nah it's cool but thanks for the offer chum. That's probably the most you've contributed to any discussion in your user history, you should be proud btw.

Pirates tend to think and say "everyone does it" like it is some sort of justification. It isn't true though, I do not pirate anything, nor do my close friends or most of my other friends. We actually believe that people creating music, movies and games we love deserve money ti support themselves and keep making more music, movies and games we love.

Oh I support plenty of things, I just do it according to what I feel is right as opposed to whatever the status quo happens to be. That may be immoral to you, /shrug. I sleep alright

Even if everyone else was doing it though, that wouldn't justify you doing it. I mean, are you really so intellectually immature that I need to pull the whole "if everyone else jumped off a bridge" thing on you? Really?

I bet in your entire lifetime you have never downloaded a single mp3, movie or game, right you little angel? /sarcasm That'd be pretty remarkable, I bet you'd also be the first male computer user in the history of mankind to not have a single pornographic movie on his computer.

Anyways I'm having trouble hearing you through that glass house you built. Maybe if you open the door to the morality police precinct then I can hop inside so we can discuss this further, preferably with some rocks.
