It turns out that all that glitters is not gold, as Strategy first sends along a
clarification that today's announcement that Chrome has gone gold (
story)
does not apply to the North American version of Techland's shooter: "Many
of you may have received a News Item from Techland stating that their FPS game,
CHROME has gone gold. Strategy First is the North American publisher of this
game and we have not Gone Gold with this title yet so please disregard the news
item." A further update on
GameSpot
says the North American release of the game is planned for late October.
