The Deep Shadows Website
has a new diary movie from White Gold: War in Paradise the upcoming
first-person shooter set in a Caribbean drug war. The clip, like the site, is in
Russian, but offers a good deal of gameplay footage. The clip is mirrored on
AtomicGamer and
Gamer's Hell.

Yeah, I really wanted to like Boiling Point, but it just never worked right. It made Stalker look like a polished release.
If this one runs acceptably (massive stuttering, even on a system well beyond the recommended requirements was Boiling Point's biggest flaw), I'll definitely check it out.
I'm still waiting to see what's up with Precursors. That one is pretty damn ambitious too. God bless Eastern Europe and its commitment to true computer games--even if they are a little too ambitious sometimes.
edit: Hmmm... maybe I ought to reinstall Boiling Point and see how it runs now on hardware way, way beyond the recommended requirements. This message was edited at Sep 25, 13:25. |

Last game was ambitious, but deeply flawed. I hope White Gold can keep the ambition level high, but fix all the flaws and up the polish. If so, it will be a gem.

Is it just me or does the video have a terrible framerate? It really was quite bad. Aside from that, the game looks pretty good. I just hope it gets the proper amount of polish before release.
