I was going to post a comment on their site or write a letter to their editor or something, but it looks like hi-techreviews.com is a site run by a guy and his wife to try to milk sponsorships from hardware makers. I wonder if I could make money doing this.

I looked at this randomly because I was recently in the video card market and bored. It is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen passed off as a product "review."
http://www.hi-techreviews.com/reviews/current-reviews/sapphire-hd-4670.html
The first 5 pages are copy-pasted from manufacturer's description of the card and its features.
The next 3 contain benchmarks, but they don't compare the card to any others, they just list off frame rates in various games at various resolutions.
All 8 pages have a link to the Sapphire website at the bottom.
The article finishes with the Editor's Choice award and "A special thank to our friends at Sapphire Technology."
If this doesn't illustrate the poisonous nature of the relationships between advertisers and "independent" review sites, I don't know what does.
