The Games for Windows Website announces LEGO Batman has slid down the LEGO bat-pole and is now available in stores for Windows, Xbox 360, PlayStation3, PlayStation 2, Wii, PSP, and DS. Word is: "LEGO Batman: The Videogame offers players a totally original storyline and gives them control of the Dynamic Duo, Batman and Robin, as well as Gotham City’s most notorious criminals including The Joker, The Penguin, Catwoman, Scarecrow, Killer Croc and many more!" As noted on that page, a launch celebration this afternoon in the American Museum of Natural History is open to the public, so if you are in the New York City area you may want to swing on over.

 Rock. They are lots of fun, easy to get into and fun to play. I really don't see how anyone can have anything negative to say about them.

I'm sure there will be a PC demo coming, just like there was a demo for Lego Raiders not too long ago.

According to the UGO review of the 360 version, it doesn't have online coop. Since the 360 version doesn't have it, it's safe to assume that none of them do.

 I wonder if this one will require as much disk space as LEGO Indy. I realize the background graphics in the last one were substantially improved, but it seemed a little too big for the kind of game it is. I can't find proper system requirements for this game anywhere.

Oh well, I'll be getting this one either way.
