He mentioned in the comments section that the review was around a year old and that Vault Dweller had just put it up.

I really enjoyed fable, and it was a good RPG in the sense you could do the Bioware style thing and Play the Role you wanted be that prick, saint or whatever in between. I also really liked the way you could stack spells. That made for some pretty cool spell combos. Anyway, pretty random review.
Also, souldn't that read "The Lost Chapters", not Chambers.

for the first four hours I played.
However, when I was done for the night, I quit playing...and then the next day I started playing again, and roughly 2 hours of my work was gone! I was literally having to repeat parts of the game, talking to NPCs, etc because of the "console inspired" save system. I don't remember correctly what it was, but it was some kind of a "checkpoint" system where you had to progress past a certain part of the story before it saved properly. Sorry, but that doesn't work for us hardcore PC gamers. Unfortunately, I had to toss the game on Ebay the next day.
But anyways.......why are we talking about Fable?! Uhh, maybe he reviewed it because Fable 2 is set to be released soon. Only thing I can think of.

Fable was a terrible RPG, but a half-decent game.

Despite the lateness, I thought the review was pretty spot-on. Fable was a terrible RPG.

he reviews the deluxe PC version which had extra areas to it, etc but even that came out over a year ago. More like three years ago actually.

And what's up with that lame "first impressions" of Legendary? Why do they think we need a "first impressions?" Should a regular suffice?
