 I liked Crackdown but to me it was really grazing the surface of what the whole design COULD have been. It was more of a developer build of some loose ideas but nothing solid.
It was a Sandbox and nothing with a couple of cool tools and Matrix style effects.

    You know that was done by one of the guys who did GTA and Lemmings?
Yup - I just don't think it is all that great. Not sure what the pull to that game is. Another case of mediocre game on console where it stands alone? (Halo, GoW, etc)

The cause of all these evils was the lust for power arising from greed and ambition; and from these passions proceeded the violence of parties once engaged in contention.
In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.

 Capcom obviously missed the memo about not fixing what is not broken. Disappointing.

Edit: Btw I actually liked how Leon had to stop moving in order to shoot a gun in RE4, made the game 100x more suspenseful then anything in Gears, IMO.
