A new movie from Battlefield Heroes offers a look at combat in EA's upcoming subscription-free multiplayer shooter. The clip begins like a vintage newsreel before segueing to show off the game's stylized graphics and over-the-top gameplay, including vehicles, a number of different weapons and a variety of characters. The movie is on FileFront and Gamer's Hell.

	this game is a disgrace to what prestige remains in the "Battlefield" name, regardless of if it is a free game or not. This game had "prestige" after BF 2142? I wasn't aware of that, thanks for the news flash.

	It's a pretty stupid game. The animations and sounds suck, pretty much. If this is supposed to be some kind of Team Fortress 2 killer then....FAIL. Don't waste your fucking time with this.

	At PAX I watched some people playing it and it just looked and played like ass. 2 people, 5 feet apart in game, circle strafing around each other unloading their weapons, you just see dmg numbers displaying above the heads (like MMO's). These guys probably circled each other for a good 10 secs...then one just died. Yay for shitty gameplay! 	the money hook is suppose to be that people will want to pay to outfit their in game avatar with costumes and accessories like hats and maybe different hair styles. other than that there's an ad banner on the web portal that you use to launch the game, oddly enough there are no in-game billboard type ads - yet. unless things change they're not going to charge for weapons.

	This game is probably making Jerykk crap his pants in PC rage. Third person, unlimited ammo, no prone, no sprint, and the game is probably slower paced than BF2.

	That's the whole feeling I got from watching the video. Looks like DICE trying to make a game with the same feel as TF2 but not quite getting there. Since it's FREE I'll play it for at least an hour or two and see how it plays but I was not impressed by what I saw. Also what's the whole business model behind this one? They giving it away because it wouldn't sell or they giving you the basic game trying to sell you unlocks?

	Free or not this is going to be the worst BF game yet. Agreed. Played the beta and it SUCKS. If you haven't yet tried it, don't bother.
