For someone that is always touting gameplay....you let a perfectly fine framerate stop you from playing? That's just dumb. I can tolerate 30 FPS if the graphics are outstanding but GUN didn't have outstanding graphics. The gameplay wasn't good enough to tolerate the low framerate either.
I'm guessing you pirated the game, therefore not playing due "framerate cap" isn't a big deal. The great thing about piracy is that you don't feel any contrived obligation to beat a game simply because you paid for it. Pirated games actually have to be engaging and compelling to be worth my time.

I went back and tried again a few months ago except the framerate cap just killed any motivation I had to continue. For someone that is always touting gameplay....you let a perfectly fine framerate stop you from playing? That's just dumb.

GUN reeked of consolitis. The hitboxes were HUGE. It was almost impossible to miss. The game also had a 30 FPS cap, which is completely absurd. I never got around to beating it. I went back and tried again a few months ago except the framerate cap just killed any motivation I had to continue.

Gun was a spirited successor to Outlaws. Yea it's too bad the quality on that game sucked so bad. Not a horrible game, kept me going long enough to finish it, but a lot of broken and incomplete game mechanics. But it really didnt hold a candle to Outlaws.

Yea this this looks like it was made by someone in their 20's that completely missed the hey-day of great LucasArts games.
Sequels to Boba Fett and Republic Commando? GOD PLEASE NO!
Talk about consolized crap. Neither were downright awful, but certainly not worthy of sequels.
- Outlaws 2 (First and foremost, drop development on everything else and make this god damnit!)
- Any number of adventure titles...but really most if not all of their Adventure game guys are long gone.
- X-Wing/Tie Fighter
- A REAL Dark Forces sequel/prequel/spinoff game...First Person, no lightsabers.

Agreed, Graphical adventure games are what made LucasArts great. A true Sam Max 2, new Monkey Island Game with Ron Gilbert back in the hotseat. Whys this crispy gamer guy got absolutely no idea? Bounty Hunter 2?! lol what a joke. Jesus christ it seems andybody game be a "game journalis" these days!

That list is badly in need of some graphic adventures. On the other hand, all the talent that made LucasArts adventure games so memorable has long since left the company.

Well, at least the list got a couple right. There should be a KotoR3 and X Wing/Tie Fighter 4. There should also be a Dark Forces 3/Jedi Knight 3. Everything else on the list? Not so much.
