A new cinematic trailer is now available for Warhammer Online: Age of
Reckoning. Word on the new WAR trailer is that it "brings the Age of
Reckoning to life in stunning detail and showcases the ongoing conflict between
the armies of Order and Destruction, the catalyst for WAR’s groundbreaking Realm
vs. Realm gameplay." The clip is available on
AtomicGamer,
FileFront, and
MyGameTrailers.

I'll agree AoC has the best PvP of any MMORPG but I put my account on hold while trying out WAR. Not to mention I'm hoping FunCom will add more content soon. There is enough to casually play the game but if you hit it everyday you'll soon be bored.
I know that should go without saying... since too much of anything is never good.
I loved WoW years ago, I love AoC now, but the flavor of the month is WAR. Can't wait for Open Beta and Early Access to kick in.
Not sure how many months it will hold my attention with all the other good games due out over the next few months but I now know it will be fun while it lasts.
Edit: I haven't been following WotLK... are they adding any new classes or races?

WoWs pvp blows bigtime. So I wouldn't want to see WAR's PvP become remotely as bad.
That said, it looks even worse lol.
You want good pvp, you go play Age of Conan. If you can deal with the bugs and the technical issues and lack of real PvP content at the moment, it's the best their is for pure skill involved and visceral enjoyment.
BTW, video is pretty cool.

Fion check out my video of a huge raid on the Alliance town of Valiance Keep in Borean Tundra... http://www.veoh.com/videos/v15602270bgRM5DcY
WOW just reminds me of how fun the PVP aspect of the game can be. Everytime I do it I feel depressed going back to quests and leveling. Of course the story content in WOTLK makes the quests interesting so I jump back and forth between PVP and questing.
If WAR had PVP that rivaled WOW I might check it out.

I'm going to say that trailer was freaking awesome. But I'm like too well vested in WOW to play another WOW like game. Yes, I know. WAR != WOW. I'm just saying both have like the same races, classes, so forth. I don't want to be a noob again. LOL.

Well the forums have had a positive tone as of late thats for sure, but the videos do not reassure me. The action is slow, almost labored, the PvP I've seen makes me want to fall asleep.
The game better be exceptional because the combat is tired and boring by all appearances. I spose I'll find out in open beta.

Didn't have many expectations after hearing this game being lambasted for the last year straight by all of these "supposed" beta testers.
However, if you listen to the beta testers for ANY MMO, you'll never make it a point to play one. Games not finished, game sucks, game needs a lot of work, game has bugs, game has lag...it's as if people forget the term "beta" testing.
However, the recent videos from the NDA being lifted accompanied with the more positive tone some Warhammer forums are taking, this game might be good after all.
I certainly hope so, because after waiting for years for the "next generation" of MMOs, ie AoC and Warhammer, if Warhammer sucks... we're screwed. *and stuck waiting many years again* And no MMO fan can want that to happen.

I know we have all been hearing the negative posts here and there from supposed Closed Beta testers... well I am finally in the Closed Beta and it was worth the wait.
The NDA was lifted for media only so I can't go into details now. Open Beta and then the Early Access are both coming in the next few weeks.
