If you can't figure out how to remove a couple screws and slide something out of a slot, you're too stupid to own a computer. It's as easy as unscrewing a jar of peanut butter. You don't have to be a "computer person" to figure it out, you have to be dumber than a fourth grader.

Lotta people don't know that though. I bet when some sales guy explained the warranty, he used the word "everything" a lot more than he should have, and the customer didn't ask any questions. And plenty of people are intimidated by even the simplest computer work, and have that constant fear of breaking something.

That article is a bit misleading. The guy sent in his machine to the wrong place using a service plan that doesn't cover full service work on a part that he could EASILY replace himself.
