Ah, they had 415k subs at the end of June. The most certainly DO NOT have that nany now. You have to read the fine print to eke out that hidden fact.
I will bet they are under 300k subs now and as soon as War comes out, will be under 100k.
Their end game is broken, sieges don't work yet, and very little content for high end players.

The question should be, what are they going to do to keep them.

415k is a fair bit shy of 1/2 total sales, which is a sizable turn around. But at the same time that makes it the 2nd highest subscribed-to MMOG in the western world I do believe.
The games issues are well known, but this at least shoots down the 'reports' of the game failing completely and only a string of players left playing. You have to admit the game has a following of some of the worst haters of any MMOG in recent memory.
If the game was actually as bad as they suggest I could agree with them. But it's not remotely as bad as they say. It's a new MMOG with some SERIOUS growing pains, but a fun one with some innovation, (if lacking some depth that will, I hope, come in with new content and updates.) That appears to be enough to hold over 415k subscribers.
