BlizzCon Ticket Sales Resume Today

The latest from the World of Warcraft Forums on the status of BlizzCon 2008 tickets is a post that went up in the wee hours (Eastern time) today in a futile bid to save folks from staying up until the wee hours. So the tomorrow it refers to means later today:

Update: 9:40 PM PDT - We have appreciated everyone’s patience as we've worked to address issues with the BlizzCon ticket sales today. To avoid having people stay up into the early hours attempting to make ticket purchases, we will take ticket sales down and continue implementing optimizations through tonight and tomorrow morning.

There are still plenty of tickets available, so if you weren't able to purchase tickets today, please check back tomorrow. We'll continue to provide updates on the World of Warcraft forums here.

	You know, blue might as well not bother trying to keep up with the Blizzcon ticket situation. Anyone that cares is probably refreshing the main Blizzard site and/or WoW forums like a mofo.

	Can't say for this year, but a few of my guildies in the last few years have gone and they were all personalized tickets with their names on them. Matching ID+Ticket had to be presented otherwise they weren't honored at the convention center.

	Supposedly, you have to pick the tickets up at the convention center and you have to present the ID used to purchase the tickets. So, if that's true, they are effectively E-bay proof.

	Goddamn you have to really give credit to these guys. They are really reaping what they sowed I mean its one thing when servers go down for an MMO of imense proportions and worldwide simultaneous release, but a TICKET SALES SERVER??? Roflmao. Blizzard is bigger than the Pope, the President and Iron Maiden
