GameVideos offers two Stargate Worlds 'Comic Con 08' movies, this one (thanks Mike Martinez and Kotaku) a full trailer with a score showing off gameplay from Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment's upcoming Stargate MMORPG, and this one offering a pretty steady ShakyCam view of the game shot off a monitor, with occasional narration.

 I'm thinking the same. One or two staff hits sure, but eight? I guess it'll change according to level and quality of staff weapon, assuming they're modelling combat and items that way.

Still, an encouraging look at a game that I was hoping wouldn't turn out poop. So far so good.

 I didn't think it was possible to make firing a staff weapon look so boring. :/ Seriously, what basic human villager in the stargate universe takes like 7-8 staff blasts to bring down. It just feels ... off ... to me. The action seems way too slow for the setting.
