Maybe this would work in a socialist utopia, but Id think Microsoft would have something to say about people giving up their Desktop PCs (with an expensive OS installed) and hooking up via some terminal to a virtual PC.

(Replace the word "Microsoft" with any big desktop brand, Intel, AMD, Apple, etc. etc.)

it would make devs lazy like blizzard. no new games needed for a successful franchise. just rehash old stuff and call it an expansion pack.

You cannot make anything fool-proof. The fools are too inventive

You know I already have enough problems with cable companies trying to choose what I watch, now you want to have another company trying to choose what I play?

This is one of the worst ideas yet. I can see it now, a new game comes out and to play it the company wants another %50 a month because they had to upgrade some of their blades. My choice is pay it or don't play. Gee, no thanks.

Just a horrible horrible idea.
