	towards the end of the 4th clip does carmack say that doom 4 will be 30hz ? does that mean its going to look choppy or what? That means it'll be locked at 30FPS, basically. Games like Command & Conquer 3 use 30FPS, and generally many console games run at 30FPS, and get better graphics as a tradeoff.
