    Sony phasing out 40GB PS3.
Sometimes in the future I aws going to buy a PS3 - and was actually wanting to get the 20gb for the best backwards compat.....what a joke. (Looks like the new 80gb abandones backward compat)

I assume they are going to stop supporting backwards compat to sell ps2 games via marketplace. Makes sense for them, but pisses everyone else off. Guess I have to keep that PS2 hooked up.

So the Sony conference was really dull, but MAG made me sit up in my seat. It's a shame they only showed a CGI trailer, but the concept sounds oh so awesome, sort of Planetside-ish. I think they will change it, but I kind of like the generic name because I'm cheesy like that. Maybe they could add a 5000 on the end.
