A London Taxi demo is online, with a sample of the urban cabbie racing game. The
demo allows the chance to play timed games in one area of the city. The 42 MB
download is available on

Thanks for that. It's nice when someone off thier own back gives a concise review of things.
London Taxi caught my eye, as I'd like to drive round london for a laugh in a game (and not in a Getaway kinda stylee), but I'm thinking twice now.

I bit the bullet and gave it a try for the good of the community.  Not bad, but 100% crazy taxi rip-off, except you pick up the same 2-3 people and take them to the same 2-3 locations over and over (I know it is a small demo, but still sorely lacking in variety). Fun for about 2 min. This game is really just a vehicle for in game ads, with a market research survey to boot. If this game turns out to be free, and is supported by ad dollars, then it might be worth yor time. Def not worth buying.
