An updated version of yesterday's kill.switch demo is now available, addressing
an unspecified glitch in the first demo, though the version number on the new
release is still 1.0. No patch is available, but the newer demo can be
downloaded from 3D Gamers,
ActionTrip,
GameSpot
DLX (registration required), and
Worthplaying.

I'm not sure if anyone else noticed, but the beginning screens on the 1st demo has ATI's "Get In The Game" logo as well as on the exit screen, but the new demo has NVidia's "The Way It's Meant To Be Played" logo as well as on the exit screen.
With only 15373 bytes difference in the install programs, I wonder if this "updated demo" is nothing more that them trying to fix a sponsor f*** up.

I tried it and thought it was a sweet little game. I wonder if it fixes the gun/nade graphic mess, or the temporary freeze after restarting the level. I beat it anyways. I'll get it eventually though.

Anyone know of a way to get this damn game to allow forward/back to mouse1 and mouse2? Or an app that will at least map mouse1 and mouse2 to keys on the kb? Demo is unplayable for me without getting my config just right.. BTW.. checked the settings.cfg; can't be done.. the configs for the keyboard and mouse are backwards..
And a tip.. shorten the intro loading time.. just rename the 2 .bik files in your /movies dir (not intro01.bik; that must remain the same)..
Thanks again..
