Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 Second Demo

PES2013.com now offers a second playable demo for the Windows edition of Pro Evolution Soccer 2012, offering the opportunity to kick around another sample of Konami's latest association football/soccer simulation. A mirror is available on Gamer's Hell, and while Konami doesn't provide details on how this differs from the first demo released in July, their Facebook page points the way (in German) to this post (in English) about the second demo for consoles, which says the following:

Demo 2 has 11 licensed teams to choose from: Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Valencia, Athletic Bilbao, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Juventus.

Additionally, Santos, Corinthians, Boca Juniors and Chivas are available to use in Copa Libertadores mode.

Performing Training also features so users are able to practice their dribbling, defending, trapping, long-passing and shooting skills

Crash Time 5: Undercover Demo

A new playable demo is available for Crash Time 5: Undercover, the upcoming installment in this series of automotive combat games based on a German television series (known there as Alarm für Cobra 11). Word is: "Experience non-stop racing action and embark on a high-octane manhunt with thrilling car chases and lots of explosive missions! Get ready for a dangerous undercover operation and smash the criminal smuggling ring." The demo is available on the game's official website and mirrored on Gamer's Hell.

Featuring hand-drawn characters, Castle Crashers delivers hi-res visuals like nothing you've seen before. Coming to Steam this week is Half Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax Ultimate Boy, which is expected on Thursday. Thanks nin.

Broken Sword - the Serpent's Curse Adventure Funded

The Kickstarter Page for Broken Sword - the Serpent's Curse Adventure shows that Revolution Software's plan for "the best Broken Sword game ever" has achieved its $400,000 funding goal with considerable room to spare, ultimately coming in at $771,561. The game did, however, fail to reach its most significant stretch goal, as $1 million in funding would have triggered a greenlight of Beneath a Steel Sky 2. Thanks Shock Fuel.

Out of the Blue

There's a craft fair that hits our area a couple of times a year that we will visit today (we visited it last week too, except we had the date wrong, so we were the only ones there). As usual, one stop will be at the salsa guy to pick up my "I ate the ultra-hot salsa and lived" sticker (one needs to go for the glory where one can). This is actually the one hot food moment where I can outshine MrsBlue, as even though my wife is one of the only people I know with a greater tolerance for spiciness than myself, she is unwilling to try that salsa anymore after it gave her an instant case of the hiccups a couple of fairs ago.
