Star Wars 1313 Details

The new episode of GameTrailers TV is online, featuring the Star Wars 1313 announcement that was leaked last night. Kicking off next week's E3 with a show 3000 miles away in New York GTTV introduces us to this new Star Wars franchise host Geoff Keighley calls a "massive new project." True to speculation based on the title, Star Wars 1313 allows players to act as a bounty hunter in 1313, an area of the planet Coruscant which creative director Dominic Robillard describes as "the most dangerous place in the galaxy," as it is apparently a wretched hive of scum and villainy that makes Mos Eisley look like a chain restaurant. They aren't prepared to discuss details about the character the player will take on, but discuss the game's setting and its third-person perspective but focuses more on technical tidbits like advanced facial animations, advanced lighting techniques. They promise the premiere of the first gameplay footage from the game on Monday night.

Dishonored Gameplay Trailer

This E3 trailer from Dishonored offers a look at gameplay from this stealthy shooter in development at Arkane Studios. In the style begun years ago by the Mad World trailer for Gears of War, this takes a sentimental slow-motion look at look at the game's brutal violence, set to a haunting chorus of children singing a drunken sea shanty. The clip concludes by reinforcing the game's previously announced October release. Continue here to read the full story.

Out of the Blue

Well look at that, it's June 1st already! This means E3 is next week, and summer starts in just a few weeks. It also means today is the deadline for MrsBlue to tell her work whether we are accepting their offer to relocate to the west coast. We vacillated wildly on making this decision, but at this point have decided we will decline, and continue to inflict our presence on the east coast. It's conceivable that they will go all Don Corleone on us and make her an offer she cannot refuse, but barring that we plan on staying put.
