Someone has apparently reminded Activision that there's a PC edition of
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, as
Shacknews reports there are plans to release the first "Content Collection" of DLC for the neglected Windows edition of the military shooter sequel on May 8th. They say this will provide four multiplayer maps and two Spec Ops missions, with some of the content being from the Call of Duty Elite subscriptions on consoles. The source of this tidbit is not provided.
Siliconera has word that Electronic Arts filed a European trademark registration for
SimOcean for use with video games. There's no further word on this right now, but the implication this may be a future installment in the Sims universe is obvious.
Telltale Games now offers the first episode of
The Walking Dead, their adventure series based on the zombie comic series. Those interested can spring USD $24.95 for the series and get to playing episode one now, with the remaining four installments expected on a monthly basis going forward. Here's word:

Mad Vulture Games now offers a new Community Patch for
Gothic 3, eradicating more of the bugs that plague Piranha Bytes' RPG sequel. The version 1.75 CP patch offers bug fixes and balance tweaks, widescreen UI support, and enhanced modification capabilities. You can find all the details in
this change log.
MrsBlue and I kicked off our weekend anniversary celebration by going to see a Nick Lowe concert last night, and as usual he didn't disappoint, showing his 63 years have done little or nothing to his guitar playing, his voice, or his ability to connect with the audience. He'll always be a favorite of ours, and we can only hope we'll get to continue seeing his shows well into his 70s, which would likely have us outlive a good portion of our fellow audience members, as we were once again among the youngest people in attendance. :)
